Green Dream Smoothie

This is my go-to green-smoothie which I drink almost every day. Feel free to switch around the greens, use apple juice in place of coconut water and use almond butter in place of hemp seeds.

Ingredients

  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1/4 avocado
  • 1 cup coconut water
  • 1 handful leafy greens (spinach, kale, chard, romaine lettuce)
  • 1 small bunch herby greens (mint, parsley, basil, lemon balm are my favourites)
  • 1 tbsp hemp seeds

Put all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. Pour into a tall glass and enjoy. If you want to take this to work or put in a lunch box, store it in a glass jar and keep cool for up to 2 days.
